Beautiful view. I’d recommend getting the room with the sea view and doing the mangrove tour. Great value and lovely staff.

Large and very clean room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful beach and garden. We had a barbecue in the evening on the shore. Quiet and peaceful. Extremely kind and responsive hosts. They installed nets on the windows especially for us so that we could sleep with an open window. In two weeks we toured the entire island and I was convinced that this was the best place to stay. I strongly recommend.

From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a world of elegance and exceptional service that truly sets this hotel apart as one of the best in the world. The design and decoration of The Danna are absolutely stunning, with an elegant blend of colonial charm and modern luxury. Every detail, from the grand lobby to the meticulously designed rooms, exudes sophistication and comfort. The ambiance throughout the hotel is both relaxing and invigorating, making every moment spent here a joy. The staff at The Danna Langkawi deserve special mention for their outstanding service. They were incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring that our stay was perfect. Their hospitality made us feel welcome and valued from start to finish. Each day was filled with delightful experiences, whether we were lounging by the beautiful infinity pool, enjoying the exquisite cuisine at the hotel's restaurants, or simply relaxing in our well-appointed room. The serene beach and lush surroundings provided a perfect backdrop for a truly unforgettable vacation. In summary, our stay at The Danna Langkawi was perfect. I don't often write reviews, but it would be a shame not to share my experience at the Ritz-Carlton Langkawi and recommend this fantastic place to everyone. Everything was perfect—impeccable services, attention to detail, well-equipped rooms, friendly staff always ready to assist. The breakfast restaurant set in the jungle with a beautiful terrace offered a diverse menu and a generous buffet with very kind employees. Funny fact: during scrambled eggs and lovely capuccino we were visited by the resident monkeys, that were greeting us every morning and stealing sugar from our table. What a lovely day to start the morning! I highly recommend trying the Beach Grill restaurant, where the chef truly impressed us. Besides the excellently prepared food, he crafted a mango salad based on our preferences and on request he prepared for us a “surprise dinner" that was absolutely extraordinary. The Horizon beach bar offered us a beautiful sunset by a chilled rose wine. The music played by the Dj helped the perfect atmosphere along with the fresh and luxurious food. The Chinese restaurant by the ocean, with its elegant design and impeccable food, added to the overall excellence. I used the spa services twice, with the 120-minute massage rituals, used one hou before the facilities like the sauna and jacuzzi, and I left from there relaxed and speechless. At some point we did a walk in the jungle with a guide provided by the hotel. Of course the hike was beautiful, we’ve reached a private beach with a great view, but more than that, we were impressed with the young guide, vast culture and full of knowledge and also his perfect English. Many thanks to Mia, which offered us a perfect lovely evening and a memory that we cannot forget.

Villa Hutan Datai is a collection of 4 beautiful villas located in the middle of ancient rainforest with breathtaking views of Malacca straits and Turatao national park, it's very secluded and peaceful with access via a private road with gated entrance. It’s an amazing place where you can fully relax and enjoy the nature around you, inc monkeys, eagles, hornbill’s, squirrels, and lizards. Our Villa had fantastic views of Datai bay which is shared only with the world class 5* Datai hotel. There's a short walk on the private road through the rainforest to the beach and the host of the villas Kenneth and Jenny will drive you there and pick you up on request if you wish. Special mention and thanks must go to Jenny and Kenneth who are the most kind, hospitable and happy people who couldn't do enough for us over six fantastic days we stayed. They would go out of their way to provide anything we wished for inc any food or drink request. As well as the Hotel Datai close by there is also a championship golf course just a few miles away. Everything was amazing, especially the privacy and views . As well as the 4 villas overall, there is a freestanding lounge and dining room villa which all guests can share, and it’s filled with beautiful items and furniture collected by the owner. Breakfast each morning was lovely served on the balcony with a good selection of fruits and cooked foods. There is also an infinity swimming pool with amazing views to die for. One of the best places we have stayed with great service, we would love to go back!

Service of hosts was amazing, Ken and family thanks again! Very friendly, warm people. Totally recommend this for a relaxing, luxury stay in Langkawi. Bonus was the cute housecat Peppito :)
