A really nice place one minute walk to a super beautiful beach connected to the property by stairs. The rooms are cosy with a private bathroom. Nicely equiped shared kitchen. There is also a restaurant and a huge terrace with view over the lake and stunning sunsets. Hammocks to chill and cold Toñas to enjoy. I booked for one night but wil stay a few more days. Nice local area with small shops and restaurants in walking distance. Lots of nature and San Ramón waterfal and Maderas volcano both close by. Good WiFi & friendly staff.

This was a unique experience open to the elements - be prepared for the sound of waves crashing, wind, insects etc protected well at night by the mosquito net over the bed. Che is very helpful and nothing is a problem. Highly recommend it provided you are prepared for what is on offer.

Hostel was amazing. Family was so welcoming and supporting in organising all activities as taxi, kayaks. Food was delicious and location is the best on the island, close to the beach and the best restaurants:) Fully recommend that place.

The best part of staying here is that Hector makes you feel like family. He is such a kind man. He's willing to stop what he's doing to help at any time. We felt safe there because he was always either downstairs or nearby. The location is very ideal. It's right off the main road and I liked how it was kind of central to all of the adventures and activities we wanted to do. The Saturday market was also right along that road as well which was cool! It is a great budget friendly place. You have everything you need. Don't expect it to be luxurious but expect to have everything you need here. Plus you get to look out at the lake from your patio! Great coffee spot! There's a couple good restaurants that are walking distance as well as a tiny "pulperia" to get some basic food for the place. If you're wanting to do all of your cooking here just make sure to bring some groceries from the Mainland as your options will be limited.

I got here by accident, after being traumatised by seeing a scorpion in the bed of another place I was about to check in prior. Super happy I got to this place, it deserves 10 ++! The dorm for 25 dollars was an absolute amazing experience, you could hear the waves, it felt like you were on a cruiseship! Dorm is spacious and very comfortable.the bunk beds were designed in a very practical way that gives you a lot of comfort.you have dedicated space and locker in the bed itself for extra stuff to put in there. The room is big, airy, high ceilings, lots of natural light. The building is made of concrete walls and windows, which prevents scorpions from coming in like the wooden houses would. Not sure if the shower had hot water or I didn't know how to turn it on. There are events every night. People at the restaurant and reception very friendly and polite.I wish they had more Nicaraguan food and less international mixes, but you can always go find places to eat outside. At night it is pitch dark on the road, so make sure you are accompanied/have a flash on you.

The owners Daniela & Tony went above and beyond for their guests to make sure we were all comfortable and had everything for our stay. Beds in the dorm were comfortable, bathroom was clean, everyone had a fan, drinking water provided, hammocks, a delicious affordable breakfast was also an option which I highly recommend! The location was close to the ferry port, it was very easy to explore other parts of the island by renting a scooter.
