The place has a unique atmosphere. It is selling artworks on corridors. The breakfast is diverse and offers many options (you cannot chose, but you get on your plate at the table all one wants for breakfast). Rooms are clean.

It is a beautiful farmhouse (renovated) in North Holland. Clean, spacious, nicely decorated rooms. Very kind and helpful owners. Tasty breakfast. Parking in front. Our green room was perfect for family with two kids.

A homely atmosphere in the house, an ideal kitchen, two great bathrooms, a separate toilet, excellent appliances and a quiet terrace by the canal are the recipe for a dream vacation. Many thanks to the hosts.

A Perfect Countryside Retreat – Highly Recommended! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Marja’s B&B in the beautiful countryside of Medemblik, near Amsterdam. From the moment we arrived, Marja made sure we felt completely at home. She greeted us warmly at the entrance, gave us a thorough introduction to the property, and ensured we had all the information we needed for a comfortable stay. A special highlight was when she took the time to show us her adorable alpacas—such a delightful and unexpected treat! The B&B itself is a gem. The decor is both cozy and tasteful, with every detail carefully considered. Everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained, from the spacious and modern bathroom to the inviting bedroom. The beds were large and incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. We also appreciated the free parking space, which was very convenient. The outdoor space is just as charming, with a lovely garden, tables, and a large terrace available for guests to enjoy. The tranquil surroundings, including the picturesque canal and gardens, made for a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The location offers stunning views of the surrounding farmland, adding to the overall sense of peace and relaxation. In short, Marja’s B&B exceeded all our expectations. Her kindness, attention to detail, and the beautiful setting made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat in the Amsterdam countryside. I have traveled to more than 20 countries in my life, and can’t wait to return here!

Comfortable vacation house in rec area close to Medemblik. Well maintained , with about everything you might need in the kitchen etc, including the free use of bikes. Comfortable beds. The friendly German owner opened the house for us and showed us around. Would rent again.

Very nice little holiday home with a great terrace including a view of the Markermeer. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom is modern. Restaurants, supermarkets and the train station are nearby.

Lovely, comfortable private cottage in a large garden looking over fields. A quiet ‘gezellig’ spot ideal to relax and as a base to explore.
