Loved the location, near eateries in town and so on, but a five minute walk away, so quieter. Property was love it and ours had a balcony overlooking the seafront.

During our 2 week trip to NZ, Glenburg was the standout stay for us. Just incredible. The lodge provides a view from the bedroom on the ocean and from the spacious living room (with fire place!) u get a fantastic view of Manakau mountains. Our reason to travel to Kaikoura was obviously whale watching, so if you are interested in doing that but also want to experience comfort, piece and quiet then Glenburn Coastal Retreat will deliver. Amazing.

The apartment is in a beautiful setting with lovely sea views and was presented immaculately. There is everything you need for a short stay and some lovely extras including wine, cheese and quality toiletries. The hosts were attentive and helpful with great local recommendations.
