Everything was lovely and the views from the unit were amazing. Our bedroom was great with a comfortable king bed and great shower/bathroom. Everything was very clean and the hosts were very friendly without being intrusive. We were the only guest so had the common area to ourselves as well and enjoyed the excellent included continental breakfast. Highly recommend The Salty Bushman for your stay in The Catlins.

Wonderful location. Unit is even better than the listing, We will spend more time there in future visits. Best "home base" for visiting the Catlins we have found. ( have been visiting South Island since 1988) Excellent value!

    Built to exacting standards, loved the joinery throughout. Place smelt of wood, very fresh & organic. Bed very comfortable Very quiet High end fixtures and fittings especially in the bathroom. Water pressure awesome WiFi fast Right on the beach where we saw a sea lion.
