Ruth, the host lives behind the property and came to welcome us on arrival and gave us some helpful information and then left us to it. Ruth was also responsive to my request for help regarding the oven...that was more the operator that was the problem.🥴 The view is fantastic, right on the waterfront. There's no TV in the place but you don't need it cause you're always looking at the views. You can watch the planes arrive and the ferries do their crossing to and from the South Island. There is some road noise but Ruth has a water feature that helps with that, but you could turn it off if you like. There's no blinds facing the road so people on the road can see in. It didn't worry me though, the rooms are private. You have a choice of beds that range from quite firm to softer. I loved the colours in the bathroom. Well stocked kitchen. No microwave but has an oven, stovetop and double airfryer. Close to shops and takeaways within walking distance. It only took about 10 minutes to get to the airport. I would definitely recommend this property.

Everything was spectacular!! The view was absolutely amazing, the breakfast each morning was delicious and fresh, the cleanliness was stellar, the hospitality by Raewynne was lovely... everything was beyond our expectations. The pictures don't do the place justice. The weather for a while was severe, with massive winds, but the house is built so solidly, you felt no drafts or insecurity. The owner thought of everything to make you feel safe, upgraded, and well cared for.

A wonderful house just by the seafront with an amazing view over the ocean. You can sit and relax for hours in the living room. The house was clean and comfortable, furnished with the highest care of details. The hosts were extremly helpful and advised us about all attractions, transport and places to eat in the neighborhood, as well as in Wellington center. We would love to spend there more days and we definitely recommend this house.

What a spot! We loved every minute staying in your beautiful apartment. Easy to find, easy to access (keep stairs in mind), and when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that it was even better / more spacious than the photos show. We are a family of four, so tested the couch bed - comfy as! Kitchen had everything you would need, and the Christmas tree was a lovely personal touch - thank you! The view was the highlight and forever changing - ferries, planes, two pods of dolphins! A car is a necessity IMO, but staying in this location is so peaceful compared to a busy hotel in town. Recommend Onepu Cafe as your local, and also Princess Bay Beach was awesome - 5 mins walk! We will be back!

Loved the view, great spacious home with plenty of beds and pillows. Plenty of pamphlets for ideas around the city. Great views of planes landing and taking off. Would definitely stay there again if I’m in Wellington again
