Very clean with everything we needed, lots of thoughtful touches. Loved the torches for our Kiwi walk in the evening, wonderful activity and so special we got to see them! The history being incorporated into the asthetic of the hotel is great and makes the rooms interesting as well making it a great place to dine. It's like going back in time. Although our room was small it was well appointed. Old world charm with a bar area and restaurant having comfortable chesterfield lounges, fireplaces and dining room with full tablecloths. Great artwork adorning the walls. Tables on the deck overlook the bay have excellent clear screens and heaters if required. Enjoyed all out meals and the attentive service of the staff.
