We had a wonderful stay at Rancho Estero with our family. Even though by European standards, facilities are not perfect, and there would be place for some minor reparations, especially in the bathroom and shared kitchen, the authentic setting, the warm hosting from Eli, and the proximity of the beach made our stay at Rancho Estero one of the best experiences throughout our Panama trip. But above all, are the surfing lessons with Zigor. Big thank you! We really loved every minute spent on the board (and near, and beaneath it :)), and feel we have advanced a lot in surfing. The kids still say that surfing with you was by far their best experience in Panama. Hope to come back some time.

Incredible location. Throwing back the curtains each morning, the surfers (often including Ricardo - the owner) were out in the waves off the point. What a view for breakfast! Bungalow was beautiful and well looked after. Ricardo and his wife could not have been nicer or more helpful- they made our stay truly memorable (including the fabulous margaritas!), and left us more knowledgeable about Panama and with many stories to tell.

The room was epic, the bed super comfy, the restaurant offered incredible food and a good vibe, the staff were super friendly and helpful. A TOP notch experience at amazing value. It was an amazing place: located in beautiful nature right on the beach; the pool was clean and had perfect temperature. The newly built bar is also very nice and the drinks and food were very special - the music was fantastic! But what we liked the most: the staff was very friendly and cool - thanks to all of you. I stayed in one of the standard rooms — it was small but cozy and very clean. Being right on Playa Estero was a highlight, and I loved rinsing off in the beach shower and heading straight to the pool. Great location for a beach getaway.

We loved the remote location in paradise. Our hosts made us feel at home. Delicious meals and a selection of beverages. Booking was easy and all of our questions were answered. Day trips can be arranged and are well worth it. Staff are kind and polite. There was no shortage of things to do and explore.

If You want to be far away in good quaility conditions this place meets the expectations. Nice surrounding near the ocean, pool, big garden, excellent kitchen and very friendly, helpful staff. it was really sad to léave.

Super location right by the water while close to shopping and restaurants. The staff were great and everything could be arranged right from the hostel (kayak rental, Coiba snorkeling tour, surfing lessons). A special thanks to Amir for being an amazing snorkeling guide and surf instructor :-) The whole hostel area was really nice and cozy with a good atmosphere and great views of the sea and Isla Catalina. Kitchen worked well as well. Room and hostel very clean.
