A real haven where you can relax perfectly. Cozy cottages with a wonderful garden. Fantastic cuisine, with a super nice team. The divers are real professionals and very polite, they help in everything. I can only recommend this place to everyone. Rose and Mafette are the nicest people you can't ask for anything they don't help you with.

Wow this place is incredible! Me and my partner travelled for one month throughout the Philippines and Polaris was our number one favorite place to stay. The staff is so kind and welcoming. The diving is superb and just a few minutes boat ride away. The dive guides are very caring and have amazing eyes. So much macro life to spot underwater. There is a nice swimming pool and they make great pizzas in their own oven. This place is definitely a "hidden gem" and we will be back some day :) Thanks Polaris team for giving us such a wonderful experience!

Super friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and pillow and good curtains to keep the room dark in the morning. I also liked the small table and chairs as well as the rack to hang wet clothes in front of every room. Breakfast nothing special but sufficient. Location not in the city center but no problem with a scooter. Free shuttle also available. Rooms and hotel itself are very clean and well maintained. Stay was above our expectations and hotel looks much better in real than in the pictures.

everything about this place was beautiful the owners were great and informative the staff were impeccable the food absolutely incredible we were on our way to go into town and met Simon one of the owners who advised us the food at the lodge was great and he was not wrong! we didn't leave the retreat and had the most relaxing time the only thing we wished is that we spend more than 2 nights here ( ideally would reccomend 3-4+ nights to enjoy) don't hesitate to book at all you can't do wrong! Alain and Simon and all wonderful staff here make the experience :)

I had a lovely time! Jo is so sweet and welcoming, she made me feel home immediately. Plus she can give you useful information about the area and how to move around, super helpful! Also, I was here in low season , so I was the only guest and i was moved from the dorm to the private room with double bed for free. Last but not least, she cooks wonderfully 😋 A really restorative stay, thank you 🧡🌈

Rene and Jelou were wonderful hosts and meeting them and their family was definitely the highlight of our trip. They went far beyond our expectations in meeting every request we made, from arranging a car to pick us up from the airport to a delicious seafood barbecue to a trip into town for an impromptu shopping trip. I would highly recommend their modest but very comfortable resort to any travellers and divers.

Juan immediately made me feel at home as l arrived in torrential rain. The hostel has everything you need except for secure lockup for your stuff - it has plenty of toilets and showers, a kitchen, hanging out areas to meet other travellers, and a lovely brekky of omelette and great coffee for only 100 pesos. The bus stop is only metres away (handy when it's raining). Juan accommodated me in all ways - dorm too cold, how about this less cold one; somewhere to hang wet clothes, put them on some spare chairs in front of a fan he set up; didn't see sardine run, he offered to drive me to show me a good spot; how to do the whale shark swim, taking these local buses are the cheapest option; and leaving before shops open, he offered to serve brekky earlier so you didn't go hungry. Juan always had time for a chat and always a smile.
