Incredibly friendly, family run place with basic but clean and tidy facilities. The rooms are just a place to sleep, while the beautiful beach is where you spend your days doing nothing much more than snorkelling and relaxing. An amazing spot.

THE LOCATION and THE FAMILY. The cute bamboo hut was basic, but clean and comfy. Shirley’s food was gorgeous. The snorkelling from right outside was amazing. Unfortunately my husband was sick and we forgot to check if we had painkillers. Shirley, Moises and Mae were SO kind and helpful giving us some painkillers and understanding when we had to leave a day early. We were so sad to leave and hope to return one day. Thank you so much ❤️

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the time. Facility can’t be better with super awesome stunning views. Lovely cats sneaked in our terrace several times and looked innocent. They care animals a lot and recommended us to visit tarsier sanctuary instead of the other commercially managed park, which I did respect. Philippine breakfast is recommended.

I had a great stay at Casa Aureola. It's a beautiful villa with only 2 or 3 guests (I even had the house alone). The villa is on the frontline to the beach and during the night you can hear the waves. It has a very big and well equipped kitchen which is connected to the living room with a beautiful balcony. When I had breakfast here I could watch the sea (see foto 1) The internet connection was available in all the rooms and even at the beach. The house is owned by a Philippine family who gave me the feeling being their private guest. I can't understand at all the negative review given here by one guest.

The staff always went beyond to try to meet your needs and requests. The hotel has beautiful artistic and antique interior. We loved our room. They pay attention to little details, which I think sets them apart from an average hotel. The beach and the swimming pool were so nice and relaxing. The food was delicious and we ate all our meals at the hotel (by the end of it, we almost tried everything on the menu and everything was delicious). The location of the hotel is perfect for doing outings and tours if you like too. This hotel was so relaxing, quiet and family friendly. I would come back here in a heartbeat. It truely is a little gem. It is perfect for your little relaxing family vacation or a romantic getaway for couples.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The place is exactly as shown in the photos — clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated with the host’s own artwork. The host was very kind and responsive, and made sure everything was comfortable for me. It’s in a peaceful location but still close to everything. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Panglao!
