Jem was the best! She took very good care of me in the short time I spent on Samal Island and encouraged me to try many activities. Had a great time snorkelling (sooo many corals and fishes!) and kayaking too. Also a great cook and gave many good recommendations for things to do at Samal Island. As someone who has never stepped foot on Philippines / Samal Island, I also appreciate the very detailed explanation that was given on how to get from Davao Airport to the resort prior to the trip.

Nice and clean place. Comfortable with all amenities ready to use. Everything I needed was in the kitchen as well. The host was always quick to respond anytime I needed anything. Convenient place, few steps to the beach and swimming pool. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

I enjoyed the facilities especially the beach and gym. The staff was amazing especially Gelai, the duty manager and Joy, Morning Catch's outlet manager. The facility is modern with classy furniture, kitchen and family hall is very spacious all throughout the balcony equipped with byfold tinted glass doors. The view of the sea and the next island is stunning due to the tinted glass windows and walling 180 degrees from the inside. I can recommend Lydia's House absolutely 100 percent to all my friends.

The ambiance is beautiful. The condo is very nice, simple but comfortable. The view is amazing. Nice place for a couple if you want privacy. Private swimming pool, free karaoke. Also the food was delicious. Quiet location. The host is very kind and responsible. Thanks for showing us the nice beach.

This place is a hidden gem to say the least! Has to be the nicest accomodation I have stayed in all of my visits to the Philippines so far, if your looking for luxury, peace and quiet, great food and your own reef to explore without overcrowding then this place is for you! Ofcourse this comes at an extra cost compared to other accomodation but it's well worth the spend and very good value for money, you won't be disappointed
