Excellent apartment! Clean, stylish, close to the airport and to the ocean with a great view from balcony and bedroom. You can hear the waves of the ocean. It has all possible facilities: washing machine, clothes dryer, coffee machine, toaster, microwave oven, refrigerator, hair dryer, secure parking etc. The host is very kind and helpful.. She guides you with absolutely everything you need. We are very satisfied with the choice made!

The hotel is located 5 min by car from the airport. Close to the ocean and small beach. My room was spacious, had pool and ocean view. Bathroom with a bath tube was a plus. Hotel has good facilities and I did not have chance to check them all as stayed for one night only. What is really plus is the staff. Super friendly and professional. I received wake up call not to miss my taxi. At 4 am there was taxi waiting for me and breakfast packed carefully in the box. Nice receptionist helped me with to carry my heavy valise to the taxi. i would definitely stay there again.

The host was very nice, he helped me park the car, and was always available. When I had troubles with a snoring and sick room partner, he offered me a different room. The rooms are clean and minimalistic. The bathroom was also clean. The beds are not so comfortable but they do for the purpose of sleeping. I was there in summer and had a light blanket but it was enough because it was hot outside. The location is great. It’s next to the airport, there is a beach down the road and a spot where you can also swim. I saw many jump in the water and swim there. Also restaurants and a supermarket nearby. But food inside the room is not allowed. So important to eat before you go to the room. I rented a car so I was flexible to move through the island. And at night it was nice to return to a spot which is safe and easy to reach. look, it’s not a resort. It’s for a purpose :). The purpose of sleeping and that’s it. It has wlan (network), it has a shared bathroom, it has a bed in a shared room. You spend the day in the island and at evening return there and sleep :). It’s good for arrival and departure day. Or days where you are nearby anyways. Also there is a costal hike which is not far from there. Best part is that the host is very nice. He respond fast. He helps with problems and is very polite. I like to support people like this because it’s genuine :).

Telma and her husband are very hospitable people and have lots of good recommendations for the town. it’s a great starting point for various hikes (given u have a car) and the local people are very welcoming. the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped.

Host was so nice, waited up for a late check in and showed us around the property. Property is in such a great location close to the beach and surrounded by great restaurants. Place was so clean, had amazing views and has restaurants and bars underneath. Highly recommend

    Amazing studio apartment only 20 min walk away from the airport with a view to the ocean (yes, you can see it from the window), very close to the local beach, central market, and nice restaurants in the area. Bolt costs around 15 euros to get to Funchal from the place. The apartment is newly renovated, fully equipped, and very clean. The landlord let us in early in the morning (though the flight was delayed and we checked it late at night, so he patiently waited for us)

    The host was very kind and helpful. Rooms were cleanThe guesthouse is located in the center of the village, on the main square. Perfect location to beach and restaurants. This is a convenient option for early departures or late arrivals as the airport can be reached in a few minutes by car. The place is absolutey different from any other and would have charm if renovated.

    The location was excellent considering that it is close to the airport and also in terms of the beach. The hotel is right in front of the ocean. Its location is excellent even though the settlement is very small and there is nothing to do in it at all. However, if you have a car, Funchal (the capital) is also nearby. The beds were comfortable, and the room was well appointed. The bathroom was also good. The breakfast was excellent considering that it was in the form of a buffet and there were delicious dishes for everyone's taste.

    Location is the best advantage of this apartment. Close to the airport (even on foot), close to the beach (rocky), 20 minutes by car to Funchal. Santa Cruz is a nice and silent city with several good restaurants and rocky beach. Apartment offers good view on planes landing at the airport, and great view on the ocean. There are washing machine and dishwasher, which are useful in case of longer stay. Garage parking lot is also very convenient.
