Great location and very clean

I absolutely LOVED this hotel !! I don't know if they had some off season prices, or if it's the fact I was staying during the week and not the weekend, but I wasn't expecting something THAT nice for the price I paid ! first, the hotel is very tastefully decorated, from the common areas to the rooms, then the staff is awesome, very helpful, smiling, nice, at reception or in the restaurant or the cleaning staff. The rooms are big, confortable, with private balcony. View is amazing, on the sea or on the cliffs. You probably have amazing sunrise when the weather is fine. They are right next to the free natural swimming pools, and they give us a voucher for the other ones, where you normally have to pay. the rooftop is amazing, with beds to relax, a big chess game and a swimming pool. Unfortunately the weather didn't let me enjoy that. Heated swimming pool in the ground floor too. You need to book for the sauna/hammam. The restaurant was very good, from the breakfast to the diner.

The unit is extremely spacious, offering a real holiday home feel. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, oven, induction hob, coffee maker, kettle and microwave. There is a washing machine. There are 2 toilets and 2 showers. The toilet and shower in the main bedroom doesn't offer much in respect of privacy.

Very nice apartment with lovely terrace overlooking the ocean. The owner was very prompt in replying, and very kind. The garage is just by the apartment, which made things very easy. We even found coffee as an amenity (for us Italians this is a plus).

We enjoyed our stay - this is a separate house, but the owner lives next door and is always available. The place has all kinds of amenities, we especially appreciated laundry machine and dryer - it was very useful after messy hikes around. Owner was very nice, gave us local fruits and cake - was very tasty. House is not modern but looks right as on the pictures - considering the price it seemed as a good deal.

We spent three incredible nights at Quinta Marefe and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The house is perfectly nestled between the mountains and the Atlantic, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The combination of rustic charm and modern comfort made it feel so inviting, and the attention to detail was exceptional. One of our favorite moments was enjoying the BBQ—we had amazing evenings grilling and soaking in the breathtaking surroundings. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy quality time together. The location was also ideal, with hiking trails nearby and the picturesque village of Paul do Mar just a short stroll away. Quinta Marefe is the perfect retreat for anyone looking to relax, explore, and make unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to return!
