Gervais, Vincent and the team (especially Esther and Solver!) took fantastic care of us from start to finish, helping to organise gorilla trekking permit and transport and even helping with the bus back to Kigali! Always super responsive and nothing was too much trouble, the team made the trip really special.
Other highlights include the boat trip across the lake, the delicious big fish, the incredible and giant breakfast every day and the cosy campfire every evening (extra cosy with a hot chocolate!) - and of course, delicious coffee.
The location is also incredible, with beautiful views across the lake (we spent hours watching the weather and the eagles) and an easy track for hiking nearby. Plus the rooms are extremely comfortable, and again, with beautiful views.
Definitely recommend!!
