The hotel is right on the river next to the old arched bridge Within easy walking distance to the castle and good places to eat The host, Igor, is a treasure. He prepares breakfast every morning in the beautiful basement and greets every guest with a warm welcome He has a vast knowledge of the local history and gladly likes to tell about it He also provides great information about where to go and what to see, not only in Skofja Loka, but pretty much anywhere in Slovenia We loved hearing about the history of Slovenia and getting good advice on where to go We ate at several of the places he recommended in nearby small towns and they were all excellent We truly miss our interaction with him every morning

Very cozy, clean apartment in a very nice quiet location. The apartment had everything we needed and was very nice to stay in. The hosts were also amazing; very friendly and available if we would need anything! They had provided some nice biscuits in the apartment at our arrival.
