The hotel is in a beautiful location with a spectacular view from the restaurant (located at the entrance, right on street level). The rooms are reached by walking down toward the sea. They are close to the entrance, but the paths are quite steep and not suitable for those with mobility issues. We were lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade to a sea-view room, which was spacious, clean, and very nice. The bed was large, but the mattress was placed directly on a plasterboard base without a frame (I personally liked it, but it is on the firm side). The pool is not particularly impressive compared to the rest of the property. The restaurant, besides being super scenic, is also excellent — both the traditional Thai dishes and the international options (breakfast dishes in particular were outstanding). The staff were exceptional.

Staying in Tanouy not a first time and always good experience. Stuff helpful but unobtrusive, location wich personally I like. Comfortable entrance from main road, has parking and decent pool. Choices of rooms, BTW they built new lux multilevel house which stay a bit aside from main bungalows. Glad that in KPG we have option as Tanouy. Def recommend.

The photos don't show half of the beauty of this place. The staff was kind and helpful at all times. The highlight was definitely the breakfast. Both the buffet and the space where it is served(right in front of the beach) were amazing. Rooms are spacious and the bed is VERY comfortableI(mattress is great and big). The pool area is also very nice. They have a spa just next to the beach where you can get a relaxing Thai massage for a fair price.

The staff here are amazing, very welcoming, very knowledgable on the local area and recommended some great things to do. The female manager in particular was great. Its is situated on the beach front which is fantastic, and the pool is awesome. They also have a small gym, and badminton which we really Enjoyed playing. AC is great, and the mosquito net around the bed is helpful for keeping you bite free at night.

Everything was perfect! Rooms are very spacious and clean. The resort is so peaceful and green. There is a gym and organized activities. Location was amazingly relaxed and by the beach, with beautiful sunsets over the sea. You need a motorbike to go into town. Staff was very nice and helpful. We even extended our stay. :)

The sun sea resort is in a great location on the beach on the road to haad rin. ( The full moon party ) and a 10 min bike ride from Thong Sala , the pier The beach is amazing also very quiet the rooms are good perfect for discovering the island

Great restaurant and bar spot right on the beach with really chilled atmosphere. Loved sitting there for sunsets. Also nice beach for a swim at high tide, though nicer beaches on west and north coast. Great room, good value for money and nice family that runs the place.

Resort had own private beach but not good for swimming. Some rooms are next to loud road and noise was unbearable. Not worth the money. There are cheaper and better ones nearby.

This place is absolutely perfect. We came for our honeymoon and it was so special! Probably the best vacation we've ever had, started from the kind staff to the beautiful room, perfect breakfast and incredible large infinity pool right on the private beach. We felt like royals.

- The pool was big and located on the beach 2 meters from the ocean. - The staff is great. I would like to mention especially Soi from the restrarant team, who is super nice and funny and made our trip much better. - The hotel staff takes care of 4 sweet dogs.
