I went in low season and sometimes I had it all to myself. The villas are perfect in size and well maintained. All the staff from housekeeping to restaurant to front desk were all very friendly and helpful. The food was good at the restaurant. Some portions better than others but I enjoyed what I ate - mainly the Thai food. The breakfast has everything you need as well. Wished we booked 1 more night at this hotel because it deserved it and so did the Ko Yao Yai island. It is really beautiful and is just perfect to be explored by scooter. The hotel's restaurant, which is located right on the beach, is a really good one, we ate there 2 times. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Quiet, very tasty breakfasts, private beach and awe-inspiring sunsets! For me the best place to stay on Koh Yao Yai if you like a bit of luxury, but not overpriced and with a bit of local spice. We rented scooter on northern part of island (cheaper then closer to hotel). Also - small gym, but almost always empty. If you need to do cardio or small workout - great. A place to chill. Our hosts helped to arrange our transfer to the island and collection from the ferry port ahead of time. Villa had lots of space and a great big bedroom. Decking area and private pool was great. The hotel has an amazing onsite restaurant and the kitchen team/waiters went above and beyond to cater to us as vegetarians. Villas have an amazing view of the ocean and your own private beachfront.
