We were fortunate to stay in a bungalow right on the seafront, a breathtaking location that offers a truly unique experience. Every day, we enjoyed an uninterrupted view of the sea, while the evenings were magical, with stunning sunsets admired directly from our bed. The soothing sound of the waves became the perfect soundtrack of our nights, and during high tide, it felt as if the water was reaching the doorstep of our room. Night after night, we slept with the door wide open to the sea, feeling completely immersed in nature. The resort is newly built, modern, and thoughtfully designed, providing all the amenities needed for a perfect vacation. Another major advantage is its location: while secluded and away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas, it takes less than a five-minute walk to reach the central zone, where you’ll find restaurants, terraces, bars, and massage salons. This is a place where not only your body finds rest, but your soul finds peace as well. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, authentic, and naturally beautiful getaway!

We have been traveling through Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia for almost two months, when we decided to end our trip in Koh Chang. First we went to the West Coast, where we had plenty of bars, restaurants and such, but for our last stay we wanted a quiet, beachfront bungalow, where we can enjoy our last days of holiday. We couldn't have chose better, since Sunrise is all this, and much more! Just 8 bungalows (4 on the beach), with a very romantic look and feel, a red sand beach with a deserted feeling, and one of the best swimming pools I have seen in the last years. The restaurant is tiny, with 14 options for lunch and dinner and 6 options for breakfast... But what options! We tried 12 out of the 14 dishes on the menu, all traditional thai, and we were simply mesmerized! All of them were amazing, with a perfect balance between deliciousness and size. If I would have to recommend something, even though it is very hard to choose, I would say the cashew tamarind dish, the stir fried garlic and pepper sauce and the sweet and sour one. But that is not all. First of all, this was the first place in two months that served proper coffee as we have it at home - in a french press. Second, and probably the reason for which our stay went from good to exceptional - the host, Penh. She is so kind, so helpful and so friendly, and she helped us with advice, renting a car, getting a massage and so on. Thank you so much Penh for having us! A peaceful slice of paradise that was the perfect place to end our travels through Asia. This family friendly resort is set amongst lush gardens with very clean attractive bungalows, a pristine swimming pool, gorgeous beach setting with paddle boards and kayaks to use and excellent service. Simon was a wonderful host who arranged a car rental for us to see the beautiful rugged East Coast of Koh Chang. He also gave us advice on what to see and do and he arranged our taxi back to Bangkok. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of Amber Sands and my girls miss Polar and Bear, the two gorgeous resort dogs. Thank you for such a memorable stay, it was exactly like all the fabulous reviews I read prior to booking described and I really hope we get to return to this beautiful spot one day.

I had a cute little cabin by the sea. It was extremely clean and cozy. With a beautiful little terrace. There is no large beach ,but the loungers and little bungalows in the railings invite you to chill out. The staff is extremely helpful and super friendly, so you immediately feel at home.

Koh Chang Villa is a beachfront villa with a hot tub on its rooftop terrace and outdoor kitchen facilities. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.

the view from villa are amazing .. and the kindness of the owner .. he is very friendly and polite person .. the most important thing at the villa is the rooftop where you relax in jacuzzi and eating from the bbq place . 😋 . one ☝️ more thing the bed 🛏 is very comfortable for deep sleeping 💤 .
