I like everything in Zanzibella. Perfect for solo travellers and couples. Its a perfect place for relaxing, you can decide to stay in the resort whole day and you will not be bored. They have restaurant that serves amazing food, a room that's super comfy, a swimminh pool that is well maintained, and really nice beach. If you want to do other activities outside like snorkeling at mnemba island, its also just about 30 mins drive. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I dont remember all the names but one is called Claudy, he is amazing and you can see that he enjoys what he's doing, very hospitable and helpful to his colleagues. He also helps the trainees. They have also Masaai employees that are very helpful and friendly. One of the thing i really enjoyed during ny stay were the local performances. They had local band perfomed on sunday, local performers that entertained us on a wednesday, and maasai performance on friday. Also the massage was perfect! Very professional. It was a lovely experience i i totally recommend. Looking forward to stay in this resort again.

The food was amazing and plentiful. Huge choice for breakfast. Fresh juice. Dinner options with cold beer. Rooms, pool and property clean. The beach was stunning, with amazing sunrises. Staff ensured we had a relaxing stay, including Edina the Customer Relationship Manager, Edwin the Manager, Dora, cleaning staff and Lucy the great chef. They organise excursions and massages. Highly recommended if you want a more intimate great value holiday.

What had a lovely stay at Marafiki, it was the perfect finish to our honeymoon! The food was delicious, the staff lovely, and everything was made to make you feel relaxed. The pool was clean, scenic, and it’s very quiet. We would come again anytime!

Everything was perfect. Although, if you pretend hanging out more at the beach I recommend to stay in Kendwa Beach some nights too because there isn't sand at the Zanbluu's beach.

This resort overlooks a white sandy private beach area, and is located 39km from Zanzibar. Guests can swim or snorkel in the nearby reef or relax at the hotel bar.

The staff were very welcoming, and the place was exceptionally clean. We loved everything about the place, and our host Deus was very helpful at whatever time just to ensure we were comfortable. Our room was bigger than imagined and was just as seen on booking.Breakfast was always fresh, yummy, and the different mix of fresh juice every morning was a perfect highlight of it. Would definitely recommend the place to anyone travelling to Kiwengwa.

As a guest at Shirley's we loved the great service and cleanliness of the rooms. The best thing is the close access to the beach and it's facilities. As a couple we share a birthday and we chose to celebrate it in zanzibar at Shirley's Residence. Shirley's made us a romantic set up by the beach and the chef prepared a delicious 4 course meal. The best part was the birthday cake which was enough to share with other guests...it was the best celebration ever. They really made us part of their family. We will forever be grateful. The management continues to work with us regarding everything we need from them, and in Zanzibar even when back home.
