Our stay at Royal Mandarin Hotel & Resort was outstanding, thanks to each staff of the hotel for being cordial and very attentive to all the requests. I would like to thank the whole team starting from their Manager Ahmed, Guest Relations - Mariam, Siara, Kids Club - Azmaara, Event Host - Khamis & Obama, Reef walk guide - Ishaka, Restaurant Manager - Mohammed Farag, House keeping staff and each staff at the hotel who ensured that our stay and experience with all the activities in the hotel is wonderful. It was a short stay for us, we stayed in their Superior Sea view room, but it was a memorable one thanks to the whole team who always greets you with a smile and are very attentive to hear out your requests/concerns and do their best to resolve them as quickly as possible. Would definitely recommend this Hotel/stay to everyone. I highly recommend this hotel in Zanzibar! The hotel is located in a beautiful area, away from the city noise. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Delicious breakfasts were served every morning, and in the evening, we could taste wonderful local and international dishes. We really liked the pool, which is located on the hotel grounds. You can rent kayaks and other water attractions on the hotel beach. We are very satisfied with our stay, and we will definitely return to this hotel in the future. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and beautiful place for vacation.

I had a wonderful time at Marijani from my first day to the last. The staff is really friendly, always smiling, very attentive to my needs and with a big heart. Some of them even became my friends. Their service is high class. The food is delicious, the rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful. There was also music every dinner. The swimming pool is great with a view on the beach that you can access in 30 seconds. They also offered me a late checkout so that I could fully enjoy my last day. They also climb up a palm tree to pick up coconuts for me. Thank you to Aditya, the chef, Levina, Lucy, Ahmed, Abdul, Evelyne, and all the others for these holidays. I will never forget them! Amazing location, right on the beach. Large sea-facing room on 1st floor has the most spectacular terrace we’ve seen - around 30 m2 overlooking the beach, with water few meters from the hotel. Room and the terrace occupies entire front of the building, so guests enjoy total privacy.

We enjoyed the location of the apartment on the shore of a small village, far away from touristic resorts. The terrasse of the apartment is great and the breakfast was very fresh and homy.

Excellent place! Sonia and all her staff were so amazing, kind and helpful with good recommendations. Nothing was ever too much for them. The place they have is nice and quiet, definitely good if you would like to fully relax with a beautiful pool and a beach just around the corner with its own sun beds. If you are wondering to stay here, don’t hesitate as it is definitely worth a visit. So so beautiful! We’ll be back!

The location is great, very quiet beach and no beach boys :) Our room was amazing, very big, on the second floor with a nice sea view . Breakfast is delicious , with chapati ( a home made flat bread from Zanzibar) , nice pancakes , fruit, fresh coffee, eggs …staff really nice , I forgot something in the room during check out and my away back to collect the luggage the cleaner reminde me and gave me back :) They have beach towels , swimming pool, free parking…
