I arrived a day later than planned due to a flight delay and although my booking for the missed night was not refundable they gave me a room for free for another night. That was really very nice :-). The hotel itself has the perfect location in stone town and is beautifully kept in traditional Zanzibar style. The staff is also very friendly..

Great clean, comfortable apartments across from the Tembo hotel; we liked being independent but with the use of the hotel facilities. Super location with friendly, helpful staff. Arranged a walking tour of Stonetown (the guide was called Chief - he was brilliant!) and a spice farm visit via reception - they were both excellent; really good value and both with a private guide.

Amazing hotel ! The staff is very nice and extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area is so relaxing with an amazing sunset view, the breakfast buffet comes with a large choice and everything is very delicious. The location is very practical. The access to the beach is amazing as well and we appreciate how the security guards are very careful. Would definitely recommend !
