Idyllic, serene, luxurious island resort with incredibly friendly staff, from the General Manager, Mr. Serrour and our host, Samuela, all the way down; all of whom went above and beyond to make our stay uniquely personal, memorable, enjoyable and relaxing. Some of the most fantastic Sunsets to enjoy as well. This all truly made it a one-of-a-kind stay and one we'll never forget surpassing all our expectations. Great choice of restaurants and food led by the amazing executive chef - Chef Giovanni, who was kind enough to create some incredible dining experiences for us. The Swahili breakfast is a must try. Also a special mention to Ju and William as well. Sad to leave and definitely hope to visit again sooner rather than later - I couldn't recommend a stay here enough! Thank you to all at Bawe - we wish you all the very best going forward!

Great oasis of piece and tranquility. Saleh taken good care of us since beginning until the very end. He is not only professional host but loves what he does and is genuinely nice person with good heart. His property has beautiful private garden where absolutely delicious breakfast is being served every morning. Absolutely a lovely place. The garden with magnificent threes, the historical context and a lovely small beach. Nice rooms and very quiet. A bit lagging behind on maintenance but plans for upgrading. However the place is just lovely, and relatively close to Stowntown and airport which makes the location perfect. Felt like home and will definitely come back.

Great clean, comfortable apartments across from the Tembo hotel; we liked being independent but with the use of the hotel facilities. Super location with friendly, helpful staff. Arranged a walking tour of Stonetown (the guide was called Chief - he was brilliant!) and a spice farm visit via reception - they were both excellent; really good value and both with a private guide.

Amazing hotel ! The staff is very nice and extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area is so relaxing with an amazing sunset view, the breakfast buffet comes with a large choice and everything is very delicious. The location is very practical. The access to the beach is amazing as well and we appreciate how the security guards are very careful. Would definitely recommend !

Amazing historical building, decorated in a very stylish way creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. Staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. We appreciate support of Chedi from a breakfast restaurant. Fantastic sunset view and vibrant local beach next to the pool. Delicious breakfast with fresh coconut water. We are missing this place and people already.
