This is perhaps the very best place to unwind on Zanzibar. If you are seeking long, swimmable white beaches, far from the madding crowd… this is THE best place to be and completely worth a visit. An hour from the airport, the staff are amazing, the facilities an absolute delight and the food substantial. It’s super quiet, so wonderful for reading or writing. Thank you team Manolo - our stay (my 11 year old son and I) of five nights was utter bliss and we would do it again in a heartbeat. 💓 5 ⭐️

This is a magical place. The resort is really long (compared to others at which we stayed), alongside the beach. This means you will have a feeling that you are alone on the beach, even if the hotel is full. We had an ocean front room and just 5 meters to our sunbeds under the palm trees. Let me point out there are not a lot of locals on the beach, selling stuff, so you will really have peace and quiet. You should expect though that the sea is affected by the tide, the same as it in most of places on Zanzibar (but keep that in mind). Aside from excellent position of the hotel, we would like to compliment the staff. They were so wonderful, always smiling, really made all of our wishes come true.

Such a charming little family run hotel where everyone gets very personalised service. The manager greets every new arrival personally and they give you a WhatsApp number where they send you important information and you can ask any questions. They always respond within minutes. The hotel has a great restaurant but if you stay longer and want to try other options there are some along the beach or up on the main road within a walking distance. The hotel has a lovely outdoor gym and SUP boards that you can use. If you want to be serious with your training they can make a workout plan for you and you can train with a personal trainer (he’s tough though, you’ve been warned 😅). The training sessions were the highlight of my stay. The hotel also has a tour organiser from whom you can book tours and transfers directly. The location is perfect for a relaxing holiday and for winding down. Thank you Moe, Barbara, Andrea and the rest of the lovely staff (including cats and dogs) for making our stay special! I would definitely stay there again.
