Beach Hotels in Lake Placid

My wife and I went to the Whiteface Lodge for our mini-moon, right after our wedding in November. Our stay was incredible - the room size was massive, and the bed and living area were very comfortable and well appointed. The guest facilities were amazing (including a small gym and game room, hot-tub and indoor pool), and the food at the restaurants was delicious. We really enjoyed the included breakfast every morning, and the complimentary cookies! We went during the off season so it was extremely quiet and peaceful during our trip, which we really appreciated and needed. Will be going back again!

The hotel is on a small hill with a beautiful lake view. We enjoyed sitting on the grass with a glass of wine. The staff was helpful and informative, spacious room, nice gym, good breakfast, overall we had a great time.

When we checked in, the clerk Kayla gave us a tour and and told us about different things going on in Lake Placid. She is a real gem. When she realized it was our first visit, she gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy. We also liked the nightly fire pits and got to meet alot of people from all over.
