🌊 Whispering Waves Cottage – Kei Mouth 🌊 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (10/10) We had the most peaceful and refreshing stay at Whispering Waves Cottage in Kei Mouth. The location is absolutely stunning – just a short walk from the beach, with the sound of the waves creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. It has everything you need for a self-catering stay, including a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely braai area. The calm atmosphere and fresh sea air made it a truly relaxing experience. Our host, Awie, was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. You can really see the care and attention he puts into the place. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a base to explore the Wild Coast, Whispering Waves is a hidden gem. We had a lovely stay at Barefoot. We were warmly welcomed by Andrea, who goes out of her way to make you feel relaxed and to make sure you have everything you need. Ocean front accommodation with everything you need for a beach holiday, the cliffs are right there and you wake up with the sun rising in front of your window. Really loved the personal touch (the host/owner surprised us with some super special treats for our belated honeymoon). Absolutely lovely place. The room included breakfast at the Salty restaurant and it was a really good breakfast.

The setting of the cottage at the mouth of a small river to the ocean is the big plus!! There are nice ocean views from the terrace and you have direct access to the shore line. The cottage is very comfortable and has all needed for a self caterin stay. The washing machine is another plus. We can highly recommend to choose Clifton Cottage for a stay at Kei Mouth
