First of all it's at the heart of the center with restaurants and coffee shops just in front of it. The house is huge and it has literally everything, even more. It is very beautiful inside and follows the old style in combination with the modernism of the furnitures. Plus it has a small balcony as you can see on the photos from which you can see the lake.

The centre of Hallstatt is a 4-minute drive away. Peaceful location by the lake and away from the more touristy Hallstatt. We had an amazing sleep, our host was very thorough in explaining everything so we would have a comfortable stay. As these are caravans, the doorways may be a bit small if you are a larger person, however my tall husband was able to manage passing through them sideways. Overall an amazing place and we wish we would have booked one more night
