The house consists of multiple apartments of different sizes. We were on the lower level, and in spite of concerns it would be cold during our winter stay it was very warm. In fact, the apartment is heated from floors, which means your feet stay warm too. Besides that… Kitchen is well equipped. Apartment is very clean and modern. Bathroom has new and high quality faucets. Traunkirchen is a very beautiful destination with a dozen of trails for hiking. The hosts were friendly. Unfortunately, we broke some glasses because it was a big company, but this was resolved in a very reputable manner. We would come back again!

This traditional, family-run hotel offers a uniquely beautiful and very quiet location directly on the eastern shore of Lake Traun, a little outside the pretty town of Gmunden. Absolutely top family-owned hotel directly at the sea, with a beautiful view onto the lake, the mountains and the city of Gmunden. Staff is very friendly and helpful, they even took care of our special request, some gluten free bread. We will never forget our stay here and will definitely come back again for a longer period.
