Motel Ballina Colonial is a 25-minute drive from Byron Bay. It is within 4.2 km of Richmond Park, the Ballina Head Lookout, and the Shelly Beach. The motel is off the main road and there is parking right in front of the room. Before we arrived they sent a code for the door by email. This made things really easy in terms of checking in. We only stayed on night, but the main area of town is less than a 5 minute drive.

The award-winning restaurant serves modern Australian cuisine. The location of the apt is fantastic, right across from Town Beach, and there are plenty of great food options nearby. The room is bright, spacious, and offers a beautiful view. It was spotlessly clean with no unpleasant odors. The staff at the front desk provided excellent service and were very helpful, offering lots of great tips for exploring the area. We are extremely satisfied with our stay and will definitely come back again. Thank you!

Very close to beach and cafes. Great property for families and opposite the pool. There was a play area and the property was very comfortable. Great kitchen and onsite parking with washing facilities.

We stayed here for our honeymoon! The hotel decor was on point, the staff was exceptional, including their recommendations, and exceptional (thank you Felicia for everything!) and the amenities were wonderful! The rooms were spacious, all the furniture was so comfortable, the cocktails were delicious and they not only offer a private cold plunge/sauna combo (which is a great way to start your morning) but also free yoga every morning! They also have free parking. The location was great, walking distance to most shops, restaurants and the beach! We definitely will be back!
