Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Samarinda Jewel by the Sea offers self-contained apartments with stunning ocean views. The 3 bedroom apartment we booked for a girls weekend exceeded our expectations. It was a prime location for the village, beach and Surf life Saving club. The island itself was more beautiful than we imagined. Lisa and Matt were extremely helpful, they went above and beyond helping us organise ourselves. I would highly recommend Samarinda Jewel by the Sea.

You can either walk down or drive to the carpark with all your beach gear. The top floor is a great big space with a fully equipped kitchen, indoor lounges areas, dining area which then opens out onto an amazing backyard with another lounge and dining area. It's the perfect house for a shared holiday with friends and family as there are heaps of different spaces for everyone to relax in. House is decorated nicely and has a decent view out over the ocean towards Moreton Island. View is better than the photo.

Photos do not do this place justice. Abundant wildlife, massive undercover deck with BBQ, lounge and outdoor setting. We had friends join us for a weekend, the living, kitchen and other two bedrooms were in a separate linked pavilion. The shared bathroom has a glorious deep bath. We liked our kangaroo family greetings each day, the curlews and sound of the waves. Kitchen was well equipped, plenty of storage space. Entry to Flinders Beach 4wd just metres away, great fishing.
