It was on the top of the ridge, and the large bedroom windows gave me a full view of the lake. It was an easy walk to the restaurants and hiking trail. The owners were friendly and answered all of my questions. I have never slept better at night die to the lack of surrounding noise and lack of cars on the island.

Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property. We absolutely loved staying here. The lodge is owned and operated by a local family. They have built a great lodge that is really well taken care of. The view of the lake from the rooms and the property is absolutely stunning. We found time everyday at the property to just sit on the outside chairs to take in the view, read a bit and watch the people go by with their donkeys and produce from their land. The family (Oscar, Sonia, Lis) were super friendly and helpful. They did a great job with breakfast. We loved that they also offered dinner which Sonia, the mother, makes herself. After taking long hikes around the island, we didn't have the energy to go out for dinner. The guestroom is very well done and super well taken care of and clean. We stayed in a family room with a lake view which was very large. The shower had reasonable pressure and hot water. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of blankets and an electric heater for the chilly nights. It is a very steep climb from the boat drop off point to the various lodges. The Utasawa lodge offers donkey service for getting your luggage up the mountain. I strongly suggest you take advantage of it. We thought it was a bargain, particularly after watching everyone with luggage struggling big time to make it up the mountain to the various lodges and hostals. We were sad to leave after three nights. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely recommend to any of our friends if visiting the island.

If you want what is arguably the best view on Isla del Sol right from your hotel room then look no further 🤩 – the room was also nice and warm, with a comfortable bed. The location of the hotel is also excellent, especially if you're doing the popular "2 day / 1 night Copacabana + Isla del Sol" itinerary, as you can easily hike the south part of the island on the first day, and then do the south–north through hike (or the opposite) on the second day. The host can even help you with luggage logistics for a small fee in case you're pressed for time due to the boat schedules. Plus, the price even included breakfast which was great!

At the hotel, each room is fitted with a desk. The location was stunning. Waking up with the door open, seeing the water - is just fantastic. The stars were super visible - I saw the milky way with very little effort. The bed was very comfortable, I wasnt cold at night. The staff were great, though sometimes hard to find them. Was able to talk via whatsapp though only in spanish. There is signal there, though less in the room. Breakfast was great - eggs with cheese, rice (I asked for rice instead of bread), some vegetables. As there isnt really any restaurant on the island, I had lunch and dinner at the hostel. It was 35 pesos each, and was pretty basic but tasted good. I'd say the rice wasnt as good, but the potatos and eggs were great. No fish or meat unfortunately.

Chinkana and Mama Ojjlla is 2.6 km from the hotel. The bed was very comfy. I loved the heavy blanket. The view is beautiful. The stuff is very friendly and will help you with any questions (Spanish). Basic breakfast with fruits, bread, jam, juice and coffee/tea. I loved the north part of the island the most where this hostel is. People are more friendly and relaxed. VERY IMPORTANT: On the north side, you can enter the island without climbing a steep hill up with your backpack, which you have to do on the south side. The hostel provides internet in the morning and evening which worked well. If you need it during the day you can go to the nearby restaurants. But everyone is hiking the beautiful island in daytime anyway. I recommend hiking the island from north to south over the mountain and back from south to north on the beach side. It's easier. You can easily get around if you start your hike between 9-10 am. So you have enough time for breaks and lunch. Enjoy

The accommodation provides room service, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests. Beautiful sunrise view from terrace and bedroom window from second floor. Relatively new rooms with modern bathroom and hot shower. WiFi was good. Breakfast was filling. About 30 minutes walk up but that means you're only 10 minutes from the top where you can find lots of restaurants with sunset views. Nicely decorated room.

Each room is equipped with a balcony with views of the lake. This was by far my prettiest stay during my trip through Bolivia! A beautiful, family run hotel with a sun terrace with gorgeous views over the little port/beach. The rooms are authentically decorated, spacious and comfortable with en suite bathroom, a comfy bed and warm duvets. There is even a heater provided, which was practical in the evening. The staff is friendly and helpful with everything. The food is delicious, the hotel offers a good variety of different dishes, all home made. I enjoyed my stay here and can highly recommend this accommodation.
