We were booking at the last minute as we were driving for same day arrival and we made a mistake about location. Staff was efficient to assist with text messages to handle our problem. Located 400 metres from Praia do Mucuge Beach, in Porto Seguro, Novos Baianos Hostel e Pousada features a sunny pool with terrace, surrounded by the garden. From the second I arrived to the second I left I felt very welcomed by Naomi (Owner). She’s very receptive and well informed. The pousada itself is beautiful, very well located and probably the cleanest place i have stayed in Brazil. The room is very comfortable, the bed is excellent, i had a great view with a hammock on the balcony. The air con is very good too. The communal area is clean and very functional and the swimming pool was an added bonus. I met some great people there and good friend in Naomi. I will definitely be returning soon. Oh and the pousada dog Zulu, is sooo lovely.. he accompanied me everywhere, even to the beach :) Thanks again.
