Loved everything about our stay here, it was pure perfection. If it’s available, do not pass up the opportunity to experience it. The lodge is beautiful and so well designed and presented, with lovely homely touches, clean spacious shower room, comfortable bed and bedroom with cracking aircon, great outdoor seating area, in all just cannot fault it. Communication with Hadas/Dusty was spot on, Hadas also arranged for us to do bird watching and cooking onsite with Flora, both of which were great experiences. On arrival we were met by Willy and Stinky who are both adorable and so friendly, they spent a lot of time with us when we were there! Willy was also a great swimming buddy in the river. Facilities in the lodge were second to none and also catered for our unstated needs! Fully stocked kitchen and a bonus of running bottled water. Having the river there to both cool down in and sunbathe by was a bonus and well used with the humidity at the time we stayed. The location was perfect for us, far enough from town to be remote and only a few mins drive into civilisation. Albert, the main man on site in the day, was lovely and friendly and we had some good conversation with him. The security here is also good, with an electric entrance gate and non intrusive cameras, but Willy and Stinky were the best security, making sure you knew about any movement even remotely near the property! They also slept outside our room on a night, ready and waiting for a breakfast treat in the morning! So cute. If you’re not a dog lover though, they won’t bother you, so please don’t be put off by them being there.

Lower Dover Jungle Lodge & Maya Ruins ligger i Unitedville og har udsigt til floden, restaurant, et fælles køkken, bar, have, terrasse og grill. Incredible place. The colorful cute cabins, the belizian river that flows through the property is really beautiful, I went there every day, the trails to the maya ruins are a great attraction, the food is great too! I traveled as a digital nomad and stayed for about a week. Was a real sanctuary, and Maddy and Justin and Bill created a beautiful place. Highly recommended!

Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge ligger i San Ignacio og har udsigt til en have, restaurant, et fælles opholdsområde, bar, have, udendørs pool (der er åben hele året) og terrasse. Stunning place to stay, with good food and poolside cocktails and lots of activities around. Staff were friendly and helpful. We did a kayak tour into San Ignacio which was super chill and the guide was very informative. Got to see monkeys and toucans!

D's Inn ligger i San Ignacio og har et privat strandområde, fælles opholdsområde, en terrasse og restaurant. Sharon was really nice and very helpful with lots of great advice. We are on a family back packing trip- I would definitely recommend this hotel as the family running the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. Also has a kitchen so we could cook food and has a gym next door. It’s a couple of minutes from downtown and also from both the market and the bus station.
