The family-run Seehotel Gotthard in Weggis on the shore of Lake Lucerne, 25 km from Lucerne, offers 2 restaurants, a pizzeria, a bistro and rooms with scenic views and free WiFi. We spent a week in the hotel in April. It is a beautiful property and a great base for walks to Hertenstein, Vitznau and to the cable car to mount Rigi. The hotel is near the ferry dock which provides an easy way to reach the many small pretty towns on the Lake Lucerne. The hotel staff is very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast buffet is simply delicious! It is a very good opportunity to sample local breads, cheeses and cold meat cuts, and the hostess will also cook eggs to your liking. Our room with the lake view was so pretty! Highly recommend the hotel.

Backpackers Luzern offers accommodation in a quiet area on the shores of Lake Lucerne. There is a shared kitchen and a common lounge area with a tabletop football table at the property. I liked everything,right from the location,close to lake luzerne right infront of it,then the receptionist was helpful and welcoming,the place was clean,the rooms were great! I loveedd my stay!so worth it

The Seehof du Lac is situated in the centre of Weggis and only 25 km from Luzern, on one of the loveliest spots on Lake Lucerne. Guests can enjoy a large lakeside lounge with direct lake access. The view is breathtaking. The pictures don't do justice to how beautiful the view is. I would definitely would visit again and would recommend it to all my friends.
