They hooked us up with an awesome tour at a great price and best of all they gave us a flower lei when we arrived and a cute necklace when we left. I cannot recommend this hostel enough!

The staff is friendly, the rooms practical and the breakfast nice. It is not luxurious but very cozy and clean!

We absolutely loved our time at Maria Hau Cabanas, the room was perfect and in such an amazing location, right by the sea and close to town. René is honestly such a great host. He greeted us at the airport with a really warm welcome and offered airport shuttle. He also gave us super solid tips on guides and car rentals, anything you’d need on the island. The place itself is really nice. You get your own little cabin and the decor feels really cozy. I absolutely loved the balcony, it’s the perfect spot to just hang out and chill. I didn’t even notice there was a hammock, wish I’d tried it. I’d definitely recommend renting a car if you stay here. The place is super close to Tahai for sunset and there’s a shortcut that gets you there in just a few minutes, but having a car makes getting to restaurants and the town area way easier. Make sure to bring your own toiletries. And don’t skip the guavas in the yard, they were so good. I’d totally recommend this place to my friends.
