The breakfast was very good with a choice of 4 pre set menu and every table has an amazing view of the ocean. The Ocean views from the balcony of the bungalows are incredible and there is an hamac where you can relax besides there are some seats and table where couple of times we enjoy a beautiful dinner. The kitchen is very well equipped if you feel like cooking and they even had excellent wine glases to enjoy a great" SALUD" The host Ximena which welcomed us when we arrived made us feel very comfortable and gave us many good tips about the Island ,Gracias Ximena.. Also Andrea who was the person that I was in contact before we arrive was very helpful and it inspired me to choose this wonderful place. This was a family trip for me my 3 sisters and my mother and we all felt the warmth of everybody that works there and most important they treat my mother Gloria like a Queen. Muchisimas Gracias.

Situated just 600 metres from Pea, Cabañas Kitai features accommodation in Hanga Roa with access to a private beach area, a garden, as well as free shuttle service. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The holiday home has family rooms. I visited Rapa Nui for two nights in December 2024 and Kitai Cabanas was really the best place to stay and made my short trip wonderful. The hosts are lovely persons and make the guests to feel welcome. Even before arrival communication was great and all questions have been answered quickly. Pick up at the airport was included and drop off at departure as well. The cottage is spacious, clean and a fully eqipped kitchen (which I did not use though, as Kitai Cabanas is next to many good restaurants). Water dispender is in the room, which was convinient. Room, bath and kitchen have been clean and I had a nice terrace with garden view. There are many lovely cats arround. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well. I booked also an island tour with the hosts and Kevin is an excellent guide. Very knowlegable about the history and culture of Rapa Nui.

The place was spacious and spotless, communication was frequent and easy, and I loved having a patio to relax on at the end of the day.

Place was clean and cosy. Facilities worked fine. Bea is an amazing host and the gatitos banditos (two Black kittens) were just sweetest thing ever 😉

Takarua Lodge features certain rooms with sea views, and each room comes with a balcony. Guest rooms include a wardrobe. Takarua lodge was a perfect stay in all aspects of. They had a vehicle pick us up at the airport. There was no worry as the wonderful driver had my name written on a placard and had traditional garlands to receive us. The front desk was efficient and welcoming and the rooms were a delight. The space was well managed and the veranda was such a wonderful design over looking a soft lawn with bright blue sea just a bit ahead. Yes, the western coast line was a brief walk away and the view of the sunset was breathtaking. The location was a perfect one with the main town and swimming area just a brief walk away. Even the tour operator found it so convenient to pick us up. The break fast was so appealing and adequate while maintaining a good taste. They had adequate drinking water supply with a good kettle for tea and coffee. But the best part was Ms Angela the young lady who looked after the reception and the housekeeping. Her positive energy and helpful attitude made my wife and I truly happy with the stay. Well done Team Takarua Lodge. I recommend this as the best property in town as it was truly the best value for money too.

We absolutely loved our time at Maria Hau Cabanas, the room was perfect and in such an amazing location, right by the sea and close to town. Maria’s son greeted us at the airport and made sure we were looked after our whole trip, thank you for such an amazing time. Cannot recommend enough!

Set in Hanga Roa, Cabañas Moai is 200 metres from Hanga Roa Anthropological Museum. Tahai is 500 metres from the property. Free private parking is available on site.

Beautiful wooden interior, huge space, comfy beds, free fruits, a sea view and have its own one of a kind moai (its carved out of red rock, thr head is in thr museum literally next door). Rene the owner is really helpful and friendly. It seems a little far from town but there is a shortcut if you are on foot, it only takes 5 minutes to get to Ahu Tahai, the famous sunset spot.
