This hotel is an exquisite gem of luxury for the discerning traveller, who doesn’t want the ubiquitous noisy, party vibe. The rooms are gorgeous, the staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming, the food is great and the cocktails were delicious. The excursions are well worth it - we swam in the mangroves to see the phosphorescent plankton and did the private snorkelling and beach trip with Diego. We booked for one night, and loved it so much, we stayed for 3. We’ve travelled all over the world staying in all sorts of accommodation, including luxury hotels, and this stay will be one of our highlights.

Thani Ecobeach Barú se află în Playa Blanca, la 3 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Blanca, și include o grădină și vedere la grădină. Acest hotel oferă o terasă și vedere la mare. Everything was perfect. Staff was incredible kind, they upgraded my room and served my breakfast with my fruit of choice. The location couldn´t be better as it is far from the noise and boats of Playa Blanca. I suggest to ask for rooms at the second floor. The sunset view from the terrace was amazing. I would definitely com back.

Our stay at Hotel Calamari Baru was so relaxing! We had one of the ocean view rooms, and it was perfect to relax. We loved hearing the sound of the waves as we slept. Christian helped us with our bags when we arrived later in the evening. The food and service at the restaurant were great and made our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was also included in the stay. The reception staff helped us book our boat trip back to Cartagena which was helpful! We would definitely recommend this hotel. It was one of the better looking accomodations on the strip.

Vista Linda Cabaña se găsește în Playa Blanca, la câțiva pași de Plaja Blanca, și oferă un bar și vedere la mare. Fantastic food, great location and super nice, courteous and hard-working staff and hosts.

Hotel Las Islas se află în Barú și are o piscină în aer liber, un centru de fitness, o grădină și o zonă de plajă privată. Stunning views, private beach area, decent gym, all the activity options you can book with them. Right in the nature and the jungle so all sorts of animals and insects etc. if you like or don’t mind that. Bed is covered with mosquito net though so very comfy at night.

Located in front of Barbacoa Beach this eco-lodge offers rooms with garden views and a private beach, within a 10-minute drive from Playa Blanca Beach. A different yet amazing alternative to enjoy Cartagena. This isolated place is the perfect mix between nature, beaches and calm. Olga, really makes everything to give their guests a perfect time. Fully recommend.

Isla Corona se află pe malul mării în Barú și oferă cazare de 5 stele, o grădină, o zonă de plajă privată și o terasă. The island is beautiful, and its design and concept are truly exceptional . The food selection is excellent, with a 3-course meal offered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The presence of animals and the surrounding nature adds a wonderful touch to the overall experience. There are always very small groups of people, and at times it feels like you have the island all to yourself. The boat ride was conducted with great professionalism and care, which I deeply appreciated, especially as I was traveling with my senior parents. This level of responsibility is rare, based on my past experiences visiting neighboring islands and resorts. But above all, the customer service was OUTSTANDING . GRACIAS to every crew member, and a special shout out to Jeison, he went above and beyond to help us celebrate my husband’s birthday.

Hotel Agua Baru by Mustique se află în localitatea Barú din regiunea Baru Island, la mai puțin de 1 km de Golful Cholón, și include un bar. We had a beautiful room with a terrace and private pool. We were upgraded as we were the only guests. The staff was very attentive and accommodating.
