The location was fantastic- beautiful white sandy beach, ocean view from bedroom window. We especially liked that there was NO music playing or smoking allowed on the property - just the sound of the birds and the waves. Good choice for breakfast and all other food from the menu for lunch, snacks and dinner (large portions). Beach bar always open to buy drinks and cocktails. Beach was cleaned and raked every morning and there were plenty of sun beds and chairs plus umbrellas and trees for shade. The staff were friendly and helpful ( also patient with us as we have zero Spanish!!!). We recommend using their suggested transport options from Cartagena - Nando (taxi) and Christian (boat). We were able to rent a boat for a couple of hours to go snorkelling and touring the islands. N.B. There are fish and a sunken plane to see when snorkelling but sadly all the coral has died. Carey Beach was the nicest sandy beach BY FAR that we saw and there were spectacular sunsets every night!

They took such good care of us. Their children are sweet and polite as well! The location is great, it’s more quiet and calm. Easy access to boat transfers. The carribean food they make is super delicious. The hosts are happy to help with any questions!

Hotel Calamari Baru có khu vực bãi biển riêng, sân hiên, nhà hàng và quầy bar ở Playa Blanca. Được xây dựng vào năm 2019, chỗ nghỉ nằm cách Bãi biển Playa Blanca chỉ vài bước chân. Our stay at Hotel Calamari Baru was so relaxing! We had one of the ocean view rooms, and it was perfect to relax. We loved hearing the sound of the waves as we slept. Christian helped us with our bags when we arrived later in the evening. The food and service at the restaurant were great and made our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was also included in the stay. The reception staff helped us book our boat trip back to Cartagena which was helpful! We would definitely recommend this hotel. It was one of the better looking accomodations on the strip.

Loved this hotel! It's a great place to disconnect and reconnect, the view is great and the breakfast buffet was one of my favorites. I went with my a group of friends and would like to go again sometime soon.

Located in front of Barbacoa Beach this eco-lodge offers rooms with garden views and a private beach, within a 10-minute drive from Playa Blanca Beach. Olga and the whole staff are so sweet, I really could feel at home there after such long flight. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from all the noise in Cartagena, and you feel immediately embraced and relaxed when you walk in

The island is beautiful, and its design and concept are truly exceptional . The food selection is excellent, with a 3-course meal offered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The presence of animals and the surrounding nature adds a wonderful touch to the overall experience. There are always very small groups of people, and at times it feels like you have the island all to yourself. The boat ride was conducted with great professionalism and care, which I deeply appreciated, especially as I was traveling with my senior parents. This level of responsibility is rare, based on my past experiences visiting neighboring islands and resorts. But above all, the customer service was OUTSTANDING . GRACIAS to every crew member, and a special shout out to Jeison, he went above and beyond to help us celebrate my husband’s birthday.

The place was clean, welcoming and beautifully designed with lovely common areas, including beach front access. The room was clean and comfortable.

I loved the whole experience. The attention from the owners and staff was outstanding. The rooms, the food, especially the food it was always served hot and delicious, they're lemonade was always on point cold and refreshing the valet there he was so attentive and always aware of what was needed. Solarium Beach Club is all operated by solar energy that was awesome. If you're interested in a camping experience on the beach, this is the place. We went as a couple, but it is very family oriented. My husband and I are planning to return next year. All we need to remember is to bring snacks in a small cooler. This was truly a camping on the beach experience. Thank you, Solarium Beach, for an awesome stay😍
