I have travelled all over the world using Booking.com, including many boutique-type hotels. It is rare that a hotel exceeds my expectations in every respect. This one did. This hotel is a relatively new, well-situated hotel in the heart of the old town, Cartagena. We asked for a quiet room, and received one. The only disadvantage with the room was that windows did not look out on anything and that they were sealed, but the room was relatively quiet in a very noisy city. To have a balcony room with openable windows means a lot of noise at night in Cartagena. We preferred to sleep! The room we had was equipped with a comfortable king-size bed, lots of room and a very good bathroom, complete with a large shower and a Japanese toilet (which is relatively rare in my experience). We initially had some difficulty with the TV, but staff rectified the problem quickly. The AC worked well and the room is equipped with a ceiling fan if one prefers to use it- we used both. The design of the hotel, including the finishes, demonstrates a well-thought out, professional team was involved. I was particularly impressed by the overall design of the common areas of the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The pool on level 4 is small but adequate for cooling down in a hot city. The hotel offers massage services. The companion hotel (Hotel Boutique Casona del Colegio) is available for meals and has a larger pool; it is located only 150 metres away, which is very convenient. For the cost, this hotel is a very good choice, allowing one to walk all over the old town and neighboring areas. Assuming that the hotel maintains its service standards and keeps its facilities in good condition, this is a hotel that I recommend without reservation.

Everything was completely perfect and staff was paying attention to the smallest of detail. It was absolute pleasure to spend couple of days there in the middle of the Columbia trip. We have arrive by a car transport, past reviews were commenting that the car drive there is very uncomfortable, from my point of view it was not that bad at all.

Situated in Cartagena de Indias, 150 metres the nearest beach, Oz Hotel Luxury features air-conditioned accommodation and a bar. When we checked in they had given us a room in their sister hotel round the corner as they said it was newer and our room was more spacious. The room was gorgeous, new, clean and massive just as they said. Bed was big and comfy. Cable box in the room with Netflix. Great location on the strip. Excellent value for money. Decent breakfast.

Casona de Colegio in Cartagena de Indias provides accommodation with a garden a terrace, an infinity pool and a bar. Everything! Staff was lovely and room was incredible we had the junior suite. Pool to ourselves. Drinks were incredible as was the breakfast. Would highly recommend

Located within a 15-minute drive from the San Felipe Castle in Cartagena de Indias, Hotel Oz offers free WiFi access, a meeting room, and an on-site bar. Bocagrande beach is just 200 metres away. The hotel was comfortable and clean The airco was very quiet the staff fantastic. The breakfast out of this world.

Boasting a charming terrace with a pool, Hotel Balovento is set in a modern building in the Bocagrande neighborhood, just 2 blocks from the beach. Free WiFi and parking are available. The customer service at Barlovento is amazing! All the staff were really kind and helpful. Our room was very clean and beautiful.
