We had a wonderful time at Coconuco Beach Resort. It is a quiet oasis just 10 minutes walking distance outside of buzzing Palomino. We really had a great and relaxing time. The rooms are very clean, the premises are well looked after and the staff went out of their way to make this stay a 10/10.

Sleeping in the treehouse was such a special experience. I honestly enjoyed it so much. I even left the beach early just to relax in the hammock on the balcony and take in the quiet surroundings. The beach is a bit of a walk, but that actually made the place feel more peaceful and secluded, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was delicious, and Lina, the host, was very kind and helpful throughout my stay. Also saw many different types of birds! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a calm and unique place to stay in Palomino.

This was the ideal base for exploring La Guajira—from Cabo de la Vela to the salt flats of Manaure. Whether you're here to relax or to adventure, this spot is a perfect launchpad. This is a wonderful place, located on a tranquil beach where it is possible to swim (no strong currents). The Managers are super friendly and service minded. The food is delicious. They have a Whats App group so you can order food or drinks to the beach, and get updated about events and possible excursions etc. The accommodation is clean and very nicely designed. There are a range of animals including a dog, two geese and two parrot chicks on the premises.
