The village bakery was a ten minute stroll away and the bread rolls were excellent. No gluten free bread available unless pre-ordered. The property had everything we needed for a self-catering week. It was spotlessly clean. Communication with the owner was easy and she was extremely helpful. There are various restaurants in Brauneberg, but the best by far was Zur Klosterschenke. They were extremely accommodating to two of us being gluten free.
