Set in an idyllic location directly on the shore of Lake Chiemsee, the 3-star superior Hotel Schlossblick offers panoramic views and hearty Bavarian food. Good hotel to visit Herrenchiemsee. Everything was good during our stay, but a special mention has to made about the breakfast. At all my travels in hotels during 40 years, I have never seen such an abundant breakfast, enormous amount of choice, all fresh (also the scrambled eggs), top quality breads, jelly’s, fruits and yogurts. Even Hyatts, Hiltons and Marriott’s can learn something from this.

What a wonderful week we have had in an amazing room. The views, the lake, the weather, the breakfast. It was a week in paradise for us. The quiet, the nature, the wonderful gardens. Superb. We tend not to revisit locations we've been to, but we would happily make an exception for Pension Hubertus. Just loved it.

Just a 3-minute drive from scenic Lake Tegernsee, this hotel in the Bavarian town of Rottach-Egern offers elegant rooms, gourmet food and a spa with large swimming pool.
