Excellent location to explore the Mosel river and the surrounding areas. Off road parking was a welcome bonus. The property is in a quiet location in a lovely village. The village bakery was a ten minute stroll away and the bread rolls were excellent. No gluten free bread available unless pre-ordered. The property had everything we needed for a self-catering week. It was spotlessly clean. Communication with the owner was easy and she was extremely helpful. There are various restaurants in Brauneberg, but the best by far was Zur Klosterschenke. They were extremely accommodating to two of us being gluten free.

Offering a la carte restaurant, Hotel Café del Maar is located in Schalkenmehren. Wi-Fi access is available. Each of the rooms at Hotel Café del Maar is decorated in a modern style. Everything was amazing! The hospitality, the location, the breakfast, the room. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Communication with our host was easy and helpful and she had agreed to us leaving our luggage at the property prior to check in. Better still our host messaged on the day we arrived and offered an early check in, which was very much appreciated. This upstairs apartment is spacious, has great decor and lovely light in the living area with a view of the main street. Location was perfect as it was an easy walk to both the ferry and the train station in this attractive small town. We self cater so really appreciated the well resourced kitchen and facilities and also the washing machine. Wifi , bathroom and bedroom all great. Minimart and bakery close by, we stayed three nights, but would have enjoyed staying longer as this was a perfect base to explore the area.

The apartment itself is very generously sized and has been renovated with a lot of attention to detail. Contact with the host before, during and after the stay was excellent and very friendly.
