Just 4 minutes’ walk from San José Beach, this guest house in the Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve offers bright accommodation with free Wi-Fi. The staff are kind and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, with a terrace on each one. Good breakfast. Quiet location. I stayed four nights.

Bungalow was clean, cosy and well equipped with everything you may need, from salt and oil in the kitchen to hair conditioner in the bathroom. There's a patio overlooking the sea (closest beach is a 10 mins walk). Marco was very helpful, gave us detailed instructions on how to reach the house and some tips and suggestions on what to do. He even provided us with bottled water as you can't drink from the tap. Being in a natural park there are few commodities nearby, but the area is incredibly peaceful with lots of beaches and trails all around. Definitely recommended if you want to unwind for a few days.

Great location, close to the beach. The woman was also super friendly. We were there in off-season, so we were the only ones there. Fairly comfortable beds as well. Great price.
