First, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were beautiful! Well designed and clean. The restaurant was delicious. We enjoyed their 3 course lunch special. Location was excellent. Catalonia Donosti has a restaurant, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in San Sebastián. We loved everything. The hotel is on the hill so the rooms have incredible view. You can reach the bottom of the hill by the elevator, it’s very convenient. The staff was super attentive and helpful. The room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The parking was convenient. Breakfast was delicious, including basque cheesecake and cava. Will definitely stay in this hotel on our next trip.

We were still jet lagged. The location was perfect to walk to the old town, both beaches, tourism office, other areas and the castle.
