Good location, with garden by the riverbank. Our host Raphael was very interesting and enjoyed chatting and his mother very kindly drove us up the valley the following day to help us out.

Maison Balmelle is a beautifully renovated home which made the perfect stay. Eric and Catherine were so welcoming, the house was beautifully decorated and the pool and gardens so relaxing and peaceful. This was an unexpected find after a long day cycling. It was a shame to only stay one night. The homemade breakfast was delicious and thoughtful and I cannot wait to stay here again for longer in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend! Great location! Historic building beautifully restored. Had everything you could need. Bedrooms were nice sized! Was cozy. Very clean and well appointed. Instructions for stay were very clear and concise!

This is a spacious family style home and gardens that would easily accommodate 2 couples . Keys were in a key box and we were given clear instructions for that. Kitchen is spacious and well equipped. En suite bedroom very comfortable. Outside spaces really lovely. Great location for cycling from and there is a good train connection into Toulouse or Albi about 10 minutes stroll away. The Rambustans market, across the bridge from Coufouleux is a delight. Good supermarket shopping there as well. You can picnic on the banks of the Tarn from Rambustans and people swim here as well.
