The location, the view, the beauty of the building, the comfort of the house—it was all unbelievable. We even considered taking a break from our Scotland vacation and just staying at home. The little bay cabin was my favorite place I stayed on my 3 week vacation traveling thru the UK. The hostess was so friendly and helpful on things to do and see. The town of Oben was only a 3 min walk with lots of shops and restaurants. The cabin which is like a modern studio apartment with all amenities was overlooking the bay. Perfect and beautiful place to stay for a few days.

The setting is magical—surrounded by peaceful nature, full of history, charm, and character. The house is beautifully preserved and feels both grand and cozy at the same time. . A special mention to the lovely girl at reception who was incredibly helpful and welcoming—she made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Truly a hidden gem, and one we’ll remember fondly. Highly recommended!

The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Beautiful location in a beautiful little town. If at all possible - we will be back.

Waking up looking from the bed to the seas, with sheep and birds making the only sounds felt a privilege. The interior is thoughtfully arranged and stocked with everything we needed, with the outdoor table and hot tub being an added bonus. Helpful and very friendly host who personally looks after everything. Location is ideal to the endless sand beaches of Westport, popular with surfers, to the dunes and golf of Machrihanish and to Campbeltown.
