Our stay was wonderful. Our host, Anne, was kind and always willing to help, even when we asked her to raise the heating one evening! The place is in a great location, near a bus stop, a supermarket, and the sea, which was our main highlight. We loved staying close (a short bus ride) to the city centre but away from it; we visited during the holiday season, and everywhere in the city centre was crowded. The apartment is beautifully decorated and well-equipped. Anne thought of everything: besides the essentials, there were games, maps, some welcome chocolates, and a lovely small Christmas tree to cheer us up during our visit. We will certainly stay in Anne's place again on our next trip to Edinburgh.

Great location for catching the train into Edinburgh, parking a breeze straight out front of house.

We're absolutely in love with this guesthouse and are definitely planning on coming back for the next trip to Edinburgh. Sinead and Chris were so sweet and helpful and forthcoming, the location was really great (and we've only travelled by bus, which was no problem at all), the view in the sea-facing room is fantastic, we've slept heavenly in those comfy beds, and the breakfast is a MUST. 10/10 recommendation!

The nearest airport is Edinburgh Airport, 14 km from the property. Our hosts were the epitome of what a B&B has been and should aspire to be. A place to stay in comfort and enjoy a good morning meal. But also a peak into the true live of the place where you are staying. Talking to them in the morning became was truly a great way to start each day. Due to our personal situation they also provided extra care and attention to detail showed how delightful the Scottish Hospitality really is. Thank you Lynne and Robert for such an amazing stay, one we wish we will repeat someday!

Golfers can enjoy exciting courses along the coast, including North Berwick Golf Club, a 3-minute drive away; golf tours can be arranged at the hotel. The members of staff were very kind and helpful. The room was big, very clean and comfortable. On our last day we had to check out very early and we were given sandwiches and snacks. This came as a surprise as we didn’t ask for it.
