Location was stunning and the accommodation was spacious, clean and suited all purposes but the star of the show was host, Frank. So helpful throughout the whole process and a pleasure to deal with. He made life so easy which isn't always the case we find on work trips but he went the extra mile to ensure our stay was memorable. I can't thank him enough or recommend him / the accommodation highly enough! I would like to think I will return in future and would 100% try to stay here again if so.

Our stay was wonderful. Our host, Anne, was kind and always willing to help, even when we asked her to raise the heating one evening! The place is in a great location, near a bus stop, a supermarket, and the sea, which was our main highlight. We loved staying close (a short bus ride) to the city centre but away from it; we visited during the holiday season, and everywhere in the city centre was crowded. The apartment is beautifully decorated and well-equipped. Anne thought of everything: besides the essentials, there were games, maps, some welcome chocolates, and a lovely small Christmas tree to cheer us up during our visit. We will certainly stay in Anne's place again on our next trip to Edinburgh.

Featuring free WiFi and a sun terrace, Another Room offers accommodation between the districts of Portobello and Craigentinny in Edinburgh, 4 km from the city centre. Very very sweet couple who made us amazing breakfast everyday. Very friendly and helpful with any sort of insights you want about Edinburgh. The place is also well maintained and clean. Equipped with all the required essentials. The location is also perfect with the bus stop just a few meters away. Time to city center is only about 20 mins, which is good enough if you want to be away from the noisy city, and yet adequately close.

Located in the coastal town of North Berwick, Nether Abbey Hotel boasts elegant rooms, a restaurant, free Wi-Fi, and free parking. Really comfortable bedroom, offering sea view and well located, about 15 mins walking distance from the city center and a short walk to the the sea. Really friendly staff, they're dog friendly indeed. They do care about your pet, constantly showing good care to all of us. It's definitely a city to return and a place to recommend (highly recommended). Absolutely great breakfast and quite a good beer selection for your after-hours.
