The location is perfect - away from the actual main street, but only a little way up one of the hills that lead up to the residential areas. I'm not particularly fit, but definitely didn't have to use one of the donkeys that transport luggage up to the steeper parts of the town, and didn't hesitate to wander up and down to the cafes and shops. The accommodation is lovely - there is art work on the walls, and the opportunity to help yourself to tea and coffee. I was surprised and delighted to be greeted with orange juice when I sat on the little terrace in the morning.

The best a stay can ever get. Owners, Tatiana and Grigoris, have created a heaven in the middle of another heaven called Hydra. The apartments are located at the heart of the harbor, with magnificent view and impeccable facilities. There is full kitchen with an induction stove, a refrigerator, a kettle and a Krups brand Nespresso machine. Tatiana and Grigoris were more than kind to fill the kitchen basket with fruits, snacks and tea bags; and when they heard I was a coffee enthusiast, they did not hesitate to provide me with extra strong Nespresso capsules (Sorry for the overconsumption guys, I will make up to you next time 😃) The cleanliness of the room is beyond description and the Korres brand cosmetics were sure a pleasant detail. It was one of the best sleeps on a vacation for me. And thank you for the wine celebrating my birthday rand that little ornament that will be on our Christmas tree this year. The staff was so keen to allow us to check out late as our ferry was leaving in the late afternoon.
