Right from the beginning Victor and Louis together with nice dog Baluu welcomed us at the deck. Going above and beyond during stay. Victor prepared for us amazing food and hight quality drinks in the middle of the jungle(!) Louis helped us plan next day and all the activities. The view is amazing especially for the sunset. We felt like home during our stay. Thank You very much!

The place is stunning, the food is amazing, all the staff is super nice, theres no phone connection so you can socialize easily with all the other guests. I would say that one day here is not enough because theres lots of activities to do and to fully enjoy it is better to take your time to relax. I would also recommend the chocolate workshop, we made like snickers chocolates but with real cacao and it was so good! We would love to come back in the future

Hotel el viajero encontra-se em La Viña e apresenta um restaurante e um bar. When we arrived we felt like at home. All of their workers there are super nice, have a nice smile and they make everything happen that you feel super nice there. The standard of everything there is just higher than in any other hotel we have been so far in Guatemala. If it comes to the shower, bathroom, bed or any other facilities, it’s just great! Also the small details! And the best thing is really as already mentioned the staff there. This is one of the hotels where you will say in a few years, remember the „El Viajero“ in rio dulce, and you‘ll immediately remember which one it was.

Casa Caribe Hotel apresenta uma piscina exterior, jardim, uma área de praia privada e salão partilhado em Rio Dulce. Great service from Javier and Enrique. Also all other employees were working with a smile and happy to help you with any kind of questions. We also received a nice tour through the beautiful garden. Easy to reach via whatsapp for any questions like boat pick-ups and happy to give tips for traveling. 5 star service! Rooms are clean and comfortable with great beds and it is a beautiful place.

Great location at the lake with nice views from the rooms and balconies. Great breakfast and dinner, with large choice of both local dishes and popular dishes such as their pizzas. Staff was super friendly and helped us a lot when we forgot a phone on the boat. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, we regret as there are enough activities to do and the hotel is a great place to hangout!

Hotel La Casa Rosada tem um jardim, terraço, um restaurante e bar em Lívingston. It was a little hot and a bit buggy in the shared dormitory but that’s pretty typical across backpacker spots this time of year (March) I think

Certainly the prettiest place in town. Lovely patio, garden & pool area to relax in after exploring the area. So peaceful considering the very noisy main road nearby. Very friendly staff, good breakfast available.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant, Amatique Bay Hotel is located in Izabal, 30 minutes' boat ride from Punta de Palma. WiFi access is available in this resort for free. It’s a big hotel and in the room you can cook it you want, very clean too. The pool are is big and there ir a ton of things you can do, playing sports or having a drink with a great view.

It feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle but you’re also right next to the river. They have family dinners every night which is a good time to meet new people and the staff are soooooo nice!
